Whoa, it's been AGEESSS.

okay first 3 things on the adgenda!

Dance Night!
Science Camp!
My latest awesome dream!

DANCE NIGHTTT!

The sense of accomplishment, relief, togetherness, was just incredible. Dancing on stage, being with my batchmates and seniors, lifting the back curtain during the breaking segment of Take It Off and seeing every row filled, every seat with the figure of an audience, the almost solid sense of energy present on stage..

wow.

And when the emcee said "introducing the raffles dancers", and we all raised our hands, that feeling was incredible.

I'm a dancer. Regardless of my cca, regardless of if i'm having formal training, as long as i keep this passion, keep this spirit alive, I will always be a dancer. And I will always remember this moment.

I'm sure many other dancers have blogged about this, so i guess there's not much point in expressing myself too much. The feeling is really just so.. indescribable.

Science camp!

Nothing much lor. Haha. Good luck batchmates! We won't have the J2s along with us for this new chapter in Street, but it's okay! We will do them proud, we will do our teachers and parents proud. (:

Awesome dream!

I HAD THIS SUPER AWESOME DREAM LAST NIGHT.
GUESS THERE ARE BENEFITS TO SLEEPING EARLY. (:

Picture a lush tropical island, a dot in the middle of a endless blue ocean.

The island... OF THE LXD.

Us, the guys in Streetdance, were making our way to participate in the filming. It was a long and difficult journey, but we had made it.

We were walking in a building, just grey walkways and full length glass walls on both sides. We could see the treetops from our walkway, and the gilttering ocean beyond. We finally reached what seemed like a connecting area to the final filming area, and in true Survivor sense I rummaged through abandoned wallets i found in this holding room of sorts. I had the sense that perhaps, for some reason, these people had not made it.

Guess it was really tough getting into the LXD.

There were denominations of every currency, most notably Vietnamese for some reason. Dat wasn't there, so I just kept the Singaporean dollars. Not much.

Anyway, I kept the money, and with a nod to my fellow dancers, I opened the door.

An almost factory-style building greeted us, and it was filled with grey and metal, with shadows everywhere.

Everywhere, except that the air was abuzz with energy and you could feel the quickened pace here.

Immediately we all split up, running to our respective venues to get ready for our performance. I followed rachel and i think clive for a while, then realised that shit, they were going to the Take It Off venue! Not the Icebox one which i was supposed to be at.

Running back, i passed what could be said was the "viewing" room where there was a small audience of what seemed like press, and a large screen was showing the start of the Icebox was already being played. It was a cool roving camera shot of everyone in a frozen pose, with white figures on the floor, and dark figures standing up. It was a japanese-style room, white-brown wooden screens and everything. just as i exited the room to head to my venue, the white figure all did rollback to backflips and the icebox music started playing.

Cursing myself, i finally found the dressing room, but knowing it was too late, i just waited for the performance to end.
------------

After that, it was the JC2 farewell party, i guess?

Not sure why, but i was at a nice long perfect beach by myself in that afternoon, I just knew i had time to burn. Maybe i choped the space for farewell.

It was in every way the perfect beach. It seemed from another time, definitely, with a fallen tree near my area lying parallel to the beach, underwater and already fossilised.

The water was perfectly blue and clear, and I could see all the way into, well all the way. perhaps even 50 meters, until the water got too dark as it gets deeper of the coast. Perhaps it was the same "LXD island"? certianly seems like it. There was nothing in the horizon in sight.

Put my phone down and played songs while i chilled in the water. tide came up later though, and kinda submerged my phone. I took it to somewhere more dry, and realised i had 5 missed calls from some indian in the Dance Night Org Comm.

Whatever it was, it quickly became nighttime, and evryone came over for the farewell. It was largely an emo affair, sure there was camwhoring, but not much. For some reason I was pdaing with SOMEONE like crazy, and kept thanking her while hugging her. And not in the just friends way too. I'm not going to say who that someone is, but it just bothered me abit when i woke up.

We took a MRT back from the island, across a linkbridge that was definitely very high up in terms of altitude. could see a few small islands from the mrt. And somehow it was evening only, (despite being night just now) and there was a really really really awesome sunset going on. It was a pulsing sunset that sent gold shimmers down the horizon, and every pulse was an explosion of orange that faded into purple sky. After perhaps a few of this pulses, I told the seniors to look, and while they looked the sun gave a final pulse and adruptly it became night, and where the sun was on the horizon there was a giant floating platform where a mega-rock concert was taking place. At least 10 thousand people were there, seeing that we could see people from probably like hundreds of kilometers away. Giant screens were there too, it looked it was a Tokio Hotel concert.

Went back, reached Sentosa MRT. (DON'T ASK ME!)
Some teacher asked me hurry up and settle the Dance Night budget.

Another teacher complained that eh! He left his food or some sort in the MRT.

it was already 11pm plus at that time, so my CT Mr Chen suggested dinner.
