Wow, I haven't posted in quite some time. I guess I haven't been giving as much importance to blogging as I should have.
Yeah, yeah, blogging's all leisure and stuff, we all know that. But looking through other blogs, I'm realising that it is quite a powerful tool to reminisce (sp?) with, to track myself, my growth. After all, if we don't record anything down, this valuable time will just be lost from our memories as time goes by.
This blog has served me through major ups and downs, and I believe it'll accompany me for the next few lifechanging years of my life.
But anyway, yep!
School as of yet is already very challenging. I am not used to this Tutorial/lecture system where independent learning is very very important. Gone are the days where the teacher will nag at you to hand up your homework. Gone are the days where teachers talk slowly. Except for Physics lectures.
Really, all these tutorials will push us to have some sort of self-directed learning. It calls for a high amount of discipline that I can't seem to get just yet. I mean, shuttling round singapore the whole day, I only managed to read a few pages of Newsweek and re-read my Physics and Econs notes in the two hours I spent while bee was at tuition.
I guess computer time's definitely going to cut down from now on. Will be staying in school till late at night, most probably. I study best with silence, a nice drink and a cool breeze. The first and last of which i can't get in my house.
Studies are just too important right now. I'm not going to try for council, even though I really feel that I should attempt such a leadership position. My grades were pretty bad the past four years, I can't let it get worse.
Street dance?
STREET DANCE IS AWESOME.
Made quite a few friends (but I'm still having trouble matching faces to names!), had tonnes of fun, will have tonnes of fun. Danceworks, Street night, i'm looking forward to it.
Kay, time to choreo dance with Nandita, joongyan, and diyanah. (:
