Talentime. It's over.
And a success, i may add.
Sure, people were nervous, abit of lag happened, some timings went bad. But I'm happy to say that at least i did my part perfectly hah!
Nah. not so ego. I'm happy that everyone tried their best. For many it was their first performance to the whole school, and I know how stressful it must be to dance in front of your peers and teachers.
Moreover, i've always been a more process orientated guy. I'm very happy about how we all bonded, how we all have sparked interest in dancing, how we made friends with people who we wouldn't normally talk to, and how we've really come to realise the spirit of Moor House. Like some cruise liners say, the journey IS the destination.
Everything was superb. But on the other hand I was at the front of the stage the whole time so i don't know what the people at the back were doing hee. I only know that we tried our best, and it was a great way to start my last year in this side of the campus.
Oh and I wore makeup. So fun. (: Especially Wen Zheng. Pimpin', yo.
Great job to all talentime members, regardless of house or role, (yes i'm pointing to you chenwei, sufyan, aqid, and all other guys who read my blog) and know that your hard efforts were not in vain. All the performances were quite decent, and so good job other houses for trying your hardest to stand up against the imba might of MOOR HOUSE!
For me too, despite having been on stage before, (namely racial harmony, oip where i did performances.) this was a pretty new experience for me, as this included BREAKDANCE. The one i did at oip didn't really count, because all i could do at that time was 6 step and babyfreeze lol. Starting to properly learn breakdance only after OIP, I'm glad that I had the chance to show whatever i've learnt on stage, in an encouraging athmosphere surrounded by friends.
But wtf some of them didn't even know it was me lol. Despite the dialouge, despite blogging incessantly about it, despite solo breakdance segment, despite going up on stage again with mike to take the prize. Ahwells. It IS pretty hard to see from the audience. Anyway, great job everyone, and I hope we all enjoyed it. I know i did.
