Yeah, so anyway, today I went to see the Raffles hoodie design to see if I found it worthy of my investment. (20 bucks!)
Well, it wasn't. Quite a lot of people have different opinions on the design of the hoodie, and I'm not too much in favor of it. It seems pretty lazy, a all-black hoodie with the Raffles crest printed boldly in front, and something at the back, printed in white. In fact, I think the only reason why people buy it is because it is black with white words. It does look kinda nice, I admit, but having the RI crest screaming from your chest everytime you wear it out just doesn't seem nice to me.
I'll stick to MY hoodie instead.
And in other news, tomorrow is my .22 revolver classification shoot! I'll need to bring my uniform, and spend roughly 4 hours waiting and traveling to shoot 8 rounds, but it's probably going to be worth it. Its compulsory after all, so I should be more optimistic.
Hmm.... tomorrow is also the Chemistry SPA test!
.... And I have no idea what else to blog about.

Today.... sigh.
First, we had maths, then waterpolo again. Waterpolo is fun! Like.. nevermind.
Then it was the Geog test. It was crazy. The teacher said that it was open-book, but I took 1 look at the questions, then at the time given, and didn't touch the notes I brought at all. We were given 40 minutes, and I ended up writing 4 pages and barely started on the third and last question before time ran out.
Immediately after that we had a last-minute bio chionging session instead of recess, the followed by Bio CCT. Then followed by Bio. I mean, what kind of stupid timetable will let you have bio lesson right after the bio CCT? Only one other class, evidently. We met Ted as we were both released for early recess + lunch. We had roughly 1.5 hrs of free time before the next lesson, RE.
After that, I left for shooting! It was once again quite boring. Just do all the usual stuff like the safety drills etc, then practice a lot of dry shooting and stuff.
The more memorable thing that happened was our pathetic attempts to moonwalk right outside the Tanglin Police Division's front doors. For about half an hour, whenever the two sensor-activated glass doors outside the police station closed, me and a few others will use the reflection in the glass to try and moonwalk. But mostly me.
The people inside must have thought that we were nuts.
Then, tomorrow will be Piano! It'll be my last lesson before my practical exam and it doesn't look too good. My scales are all shot to bits.

I'll think of a title after finishing the post.
Firstly, something's wrong with the spellcheck of Blogger, so you may see a few spelling mistakes, like in the previous half-dozen posts or so. I'll try not to make any, though.
Today, we read up on some interesting stuff for our english blog. One example which caught my eye was the issue of that elitist RJC girl, but I forgot her name. The issue was that a person called Derek wrote in a newspaper forum lamenting the overcompetitive Singaporean lifestyle, and also how well-educated people are still being retrenched at 40 for younger talents. This RJC girl (The incident happened a couple of years ago) wrote a reply on her blog, bombarding this "dear derek" about how he should stop moaning about the goverment. Controversial, insensitive comments perhaps, but damn if her english wasn't good.
Ok, and tomorrow is swimming! As expected, I was the slowest swimmer in the "can swim" category. I ended up drinking lots of water during polo.
And also tomorrow is the .22 Revolver Classification Shoot practice!!! YAY!!! That means that I'll be skipping the last period of the day to go. Quite sad lah... miss RE.

So first up, Campcraft Competition! We assembled in school at around 6.45, but I came at about 6.15 and slept on the round tables in the Raja Block. Then we set off! I slept some more on the bus, and woke up at the Police Academy with a stiff neck. Then, it was already close to 7.45, and RI team 2, us Sec 3s were going first.
Well, the twine was about half the length we expected it to be, and we ended using ALL the penalty twine and still didn't have enough. But luckily, the ground was nice and soft, and the shelter was imba. The flagpole though.. haiz. They used the wrong length of hemp and ended up with the flagpole collasping. Still, it was quite funny, especially the way we were anxiously praying whenever the judges touched the shelter, for the shelter not to fall apart or something. This was the first time in close to 10 years maybe that RI built the shelter!
And by the way, I didn't see Fion, but she saw me... I'msure lah. Never call me when you in front of me...
Anyway, back to the competition! The Sec 4s went at 10, and with their insider information about twine and ground conditions and also tips, they managed to finish everything in 9 minutes! I was playing Sufyan's PSP and being the only person in the hall (looking after the bags) so I didn't see how the heck they managed to do it.
Good job Sec 4s!
Actually, the only reason I'm blogging so much is because I'm trying to avoid mugging bio. Seriously, it's a chao killer subject. I understand it as much as I understand math-- none at all.
Ok, now for CCTs. Maybe some people haven't taken any of them yet, so I really shouldn't talk about it.
So... I bought a 1.5l bottle of coke today! I'm currently high on it.
To show my point.... here's a convo I initiated with Francis...
"Lol Emo DP...." "Emoooooo...." "Emoooooo like a cow...." "lol"
Sorry was feeling random. Today, I also got quite a lot of songs from my sister's ipod! I'll spend tomorrow listening to it. While mugging bio. And geog.

Yeps, so I shall blog cronologically. But first, sorry for those people who lack reading material and have to resort to reading this very boring blog. And also sorry for not updating as frequently as before- I just couldn't be bothered, and frankly my life isn't very interesting anyway.
So, where shall I start? Ahh, yes. The 200m Heats! I got third!
Out of the 3 people that ran...
Sigh. In the end, for U15 200m there was 1 Moor person running. Me. There was also only 1 UG guy running. Me.
I got owned =( My heat was supposed to have 6 or 7 people, but it ended up with Matthew (Rugger-turned-track) and Daniel (rugger) and Me (NPCC-er). I think I ran OK, not my best but definitely could keep up with Daniel. I was 0.4 seconds behind him in the end, with a time of 30.03 seconds or something. Not very fast but I'm satisfied.
Ok and in other news the Campcraft Competition is going to be held on Saturday! We're practicing really hard and we can make a pretty nice shelter in just under 9.30 min, pegging by ourselves. I'm looking forward to the competition, then my hands wont be screwed up after every training. Also, I'll be keeping a lookout for Fion there. =)
Hmm... What else to blog about? We watched Big Fish for English. It's a pretty nice movie about a father that tells stories and the son feels that the father is a liar because he never tells the truth. I watched the last 20 or so minutes on AXN in China last year, so I recgonised the movie. It's quite nice, really.
Oh ya we had RE!!!! I gave out sweets that were the "Singapore equivalent" of warheads. We were laughing like crazy at Edmond. I won't say anymore because I still need to jack more people.
And I bought a hoodie! Or however you spell it. Actually, my sis and I wanted the same one so we just bought 1 to share. I don't really have any opurtunities to wear it anyway...

Hi guys. It's been some time since I posted. Since my previous post, I had my 100m heats, which some people know was totally screwed up. I came in last. And tomorrow I'm on for 200m, and I feel odd being one of the few ug people in T&F.
So anyway, today was the English CCT! Lying to myself that the Dan Brown books I'm currently hooked on helps my writing skills, I went and wrote some weird but I think very believable story of how I dread going to a toilet in my house. I hope I get a good mark for it.
But English wasn't the big deal. Tomorrow is. CHINESE!!! AHH!!! I need to mug like a bug. On a rug, with a... a bud?
Whatever it is, I'll have plenty time to blog tomorrow. So byes for now.

Looking thru some of my blog posts I realised that I always leave out stuff that I planned to blog on. So, here's a few events that I missed out the last time.
1: Gay construction workers freak me out.
Why? Because there seems to be one that has targeted me. Unless of course calling me "Handsome" and licking his lips means that he is being polite. I'd rather not talk too much about this.
2: My mum broke her hand!
This was about a day or two before the CNY, so it's been quite some time. She fell down on her way to work, and then went to some clinic to put her arm in a cast and sling. I think that the clinic made some mistake though, becoz she keeps on complaining that the cast keeps on bruising her arm and cutting off blood flow.
Anyway, this means that I'll be doing more housework and cooking for the next 5 or 4 weeks. Haiz. Hope she recovers soon.
3: Recently, I visited my ex pastor's house. They moved to another church =(
It was on this Monday, and like STRAIGHT after I reached home from np my parents were sitting in front of the sofa. *Puts down my bag* "Eh why you all at home? Shouldn't you two be at work?" "Go get changed. We leaving in half an hour." "Huh?" "We going to Evan's house"
And that was it. I went to bathe and then left straight away. The dinner was NICE! There was like a chao lot of food and stuff and I was hungry! So I ate a lot and after that just stoned in front of the tv and watched Heroes. Then went home at about 11+ where I went to rush my hmk.
4: Then the next day Ming Yi and his mum came to my house for a surprise visit, followed by my "4th Aunt" (How do you say it in english?? Haiz just take it as that)
They came to visit my mum (See 2) and I ended up spending the rest of the night entertaining the guests. Didn't do homework oso.

Now on to todays post. BIO QUIZ TMR AHHH!!
Seeing that I seriously suck at bio I'm quite scared I'll fail miserably.
Then... yeah I just spent 10 minutes between this line and the one before it because I received 3 calls in a row. wtf. I was speaking to junao on the house phone, then it made the beeping sound that meant that there was another call, so I picked up that one. It was my piano teacher. Then as I was talking to her my handphone rang, for that moor house heats thingiy. What a busy man I am hor?
Now I need to do homework and stuff like mugging bio. Byes for now then.

My skin screwed up. That's probably a sign to change it. Haiyo... quite busy. The new year celebrations involved me going out of the house so much, I haven't ate at home since the start of hols, and from the looks of it I'll be eating breakfast at home tomorrow. Dining on crackers and stuff for meals, my pimples are coming out too. Gah.
Also, today I cut my hair!!!
....
...
And in other news, I'm hooked on something called Animusic. Apparently its a music band that animates their peices using super-cool instruments and you should check it out.
Animusic: Pipe Dream. This one's animation rocks.
Acoustic Curves. This one's music rocks.
Check out the others on youtube too!
Oh, and to make the videos number 3 (I like mutiples of 3 for some reason) here's Xing Fu Tiao Wei! Do not watch if you convulse violently upon seeing uber-cuteness and/or hate singers who act cute.
But I must say, Genie acts cute pretty damn well here.
Hmm.
I guess that's about it. Need to do my homework because it's (in the words of Brandon) the-teachers-happily-spam-you-with-hw-since-its-the-hols and they-think-you-very-free-dunnid-visit-relatives-or-study-for-exams week.

It's offical. Geog sucks.
Well, the geog that we are taught, anyway. It's freaking crazy at the amount you have to write. For example, half a page of my writing (Excluding diagrams and related annotations) are on average, 3-5 marks. For a 20-mark paper. For 25 minutes. Assuming no diagrams, you need to write about 2 pages of writing minimum (As in completely full pages, without paragraphs and stuff) in 25 minutes, and you'll probably get a maximum of 13/20 without diagrams anyway.
Which totally sucks.
And I'm geog rep. Woohoo.
Geog WAS a fun subject, but now it's reduced to a lesson where we blindly copy from the board and try to shut up, while freezing our asses off in the classroom. I should have taken lit... crap.
Anyway, the Secondary 3 workload is pretty heavy, and there is increasingly less time for recreation like DotA, or just a nice online game. RI does that to people, I guess.
In fact, the only reason I'm blogging is to procrastinate on my work.
So yeah byes. I think I'll listen to a few songs and then start work.

Sunday, February 3, 2008
Well, today started rather uneventfuly. I woke up at 7 as usual, went back to sleep and woke up again at 9, then played some games, mugged a bit, until about 10.30 where I cooked ramen noodles for lunch before I went off to church.
Then after the ramen was cooked I was about to pour the ramen and the hot water thru the seive when my mum called me. I turned around, and poured the whole freakin' pot of boiling water over my hand.
Seems that my left hand is rather accident-prone.
Anyway, now it hurts like... someone poured a whole freakin' pot of boiling water over it. I hope that it dosen't screw up my campcraft again, like the previous blister thingiy. Suprisingly though, after I reacted quite quickly and dunked my whole arm into icy water for the next half an hour (While I ate the remaining noodles with the other hand) no blisters appeared.
It still hurts though.
And now, I'm rushing homework out, again. I can't remember for the life of me what the heck is the Ratio Theorem. In fact, I'm so bored with mugging that I discovered that my "tiger tooth", that super-sharp tooth beside my front teeth can cut paper, such as geography notes into pretty straight strips.
