As expected, we got owned.
But this was one of the first years in RI history that we managed to make the shelter stand! WOOHOO!
And so we're aiming for maybe top 50 or smth in the nationals XD.
Sian la... We spent like how long practicing for like 10 minutes of actual competition. It reminds me of some Chinese saying but I forgot what it was.
The competition was quite fun. We arrived at around 7.30 and was let off at about 12.45. For 10 minutes of competition. WTF.
But it was quite fun la. Fun like ho-*random guy bashes me with a hammer*
The guy teams went first, and we were given 10 minutes to make a shelter, a gadget, and a flagpole. We rushed like some crazy bugger but because the ground was quite hard to peg we didn't secure the shelter properly, and so our shelter was droopy.
Then it was the girls teams! As RI didn't have any girls teams (Damn!) Me and Suf went to support the lot that we were given previously, lot 1. The Ngee Ann Seconday sch or something was there, and they didn't have any supporters so we just sat there and said stuff like "Go Lot 1!"
We got daoed completely. Hmrph. They got owned really badly though, so that's some kind of retribution for daoing us. XD
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the nationals.
Hmm... what else?
Oh ya... after the competition we carried the 3m spars all the way from Koh Chuan to RI.... And I was counting how many pple stared at us.
Everyone, basically. Except for some girl that was drinking bubbletea and listening to earphones on the other side of the road.
Then after we put all the logistics (Why do they call it logistics anyway?) into the co room, me, LKY and KLL went to run 2.4. Sufyan and Chen Wei ponned it... hrmph.
I deproved by about 20 seconds to 11.40, LKY and KLL did about 12.30 or 12.15.
I'll try to hit below 11 next time.

I'm really running out of stuff to blog about. And my phone can't upload pics to the computer so I can't show all the stuff I took during the competition. I want a new phone!!!! But I'll probably get it only at the end of the year.
