Yeah, it's Monday morning and I'm posting about Sunday. It was a pretty long day and I was out for almost 12 hours. Out as in Outside, not Out Cold.
So, first we went to church, at around 12-ish. The service ended at 3.45, then there was a 10-minute break before rehearsals for Christmas Day. I was the powerpoint clicky-guy, so I spent a couple of hours freezing with the aircon directly above me. Better wear a jacket on the actual day. My sister and another young kid was playing the violin. It wasn't that good but still it makes a nice violin-iy sound so it's cool when covered by the drums, piano and singing.
Then I called my parents after the rehearsals (At around 6.30 ba) to pick me and my sister up, but instead she went town with Chelsea. (tts how you spell it right?) So anyway, when I called my mum said that we were going to a church friend's house to celebrate Christmas in advance. It's that person that was one of the judges for the Alchemist Essay. So Thank You!
So anyway at their house, they invited other guests too, but I suck at remembering faces so I didn't know most of them (Though I've probably talked to them years ago.)
There were 5 teenagers (including me) and I didn't know two of them. There were two kids, and I didn't know both of them. Out of the 12 or so adults, two were my parents, four were from church, one I saw in church before, and a few other faces that seemed kinda familiar. The rest I didn't know.
I resigned myself to another night of staring into the bottom of my plastic cup and giving one-liner remarks to any questions that I'm asked by adults, mainly (So what school are you in?)
But it didn't happen! For some reason I had more social power today! Woohoo!
Anyway, out of the two teenagers I didn't know, there was a girl, which I have to admit, was quite chio. Kinda reminded me of Genie Zhuo, for some reason. I think it's just the hair and the dress. The face is a litttleee bit like only.
So, my mother was being extra (to the point of funny) and she was trying to intro me to her. I was like LOL.
My mother dragged me in front of her (She's called Selina), yeah introduced ourselves (Thank God for no sweaty palms then), and then told her that I was the first prize winner in the Alchemist Essay. Way to go by establishing my nerdiness outright. I fake-laughed very fakely a few times and then went to get a drink.
Then we started talking after the parents went on to talk amongst themselves. She's J1 in ACSI... But according to my mum she was MY age so she must be helluva smart, or my mum was wrong. I didn't ask her age, though. I choose to think that she's 17.
Anyway, we started laughing when we realised that we were from rival schools, and then talk some more cock for quite a while, then I went upstairs to watch "Romantic Princess" which Alvin (The son of the owners of the house) had bought. For some reason.
We watched about 1.5 episodes and boy was it draggggyyy. And it seems so Idol Drama-ish, maybe because it is. In fact, the only thing I liked was the opening theme (That strangely was not sung by the main character.) that was sung by S.H.E and Fahrenheit (Who play as rich kids in the show).
Enough with brackets.
Anyway, the acting was kinda sub par and exaggerated. Angela (The main character) had too extreme emotions and her eyes were so big it's kinda freaky. Fahrenheit wasn't too good either in terms of acting. I only saw Wu Zun though in the first 1.5 chapters so it's not really a gauge. What surprised me is that Wu Zun is acting exactly how I would have acted. Which is not really good, btw.
So, after that I got bored and went down to see them cut the cake.
I ate a slice, and also an Ice Cream. I dont eat either of those normally and I didn't enjoy it.
So after that some more talk cock with the second gal that I already know, Yu Xian/Xuan. (How do you spell it anyway?) Then some more mingling with the adults, blah blah blah, made a few jokes that weren't funny but everyone still laughed at anyway, then it was time to go.
In fact, the only guy I didn't talk to was the second teenager that I didn't know. I'm just not used to talking to a guy that looks better than me. XD
And then we went home, at around 11.30 or so. I couldn't sleep becoz I washed my hair to get the hairspray out, and that woke me up. So I watched various variety shows until 2.30 or so. Then I went to sleep.
