Yeps as some (Well just about everyone on my MSN) knows I cut my hair! And it's not that weird hairstyle I used to have anymore!
So I decided to camwhore (again, as some people might know) and below is one of the many pictures that I took. I decided not to post too many pics though, because anymore may make me look ego.
I mean, I AM ego, but you get the idea... So, since Blogger allows 4 or 5 pics per upload I decided to add pics of my computer room! Yay! Now just waiting for Blogger to upload finish... .... ... lalala.... Haiz. While waiting I'll blog a bit. Basically today I'm doing my Chinese book report. Yes I procrastinated. But I probably can finish today. There's always tomorrow though.
*slaps myself* What did I just say! I must finish today!!
I've finished up to Section 3.1 (Where you give a 200 word summary of the book) and I'm currently starting on the others.
Yay the pics are here! See below. Me trying to raise my right eyebrow. I can't really do so. Hmm. I really like my new haircut, but it's a bit short. It'll be perfect by end of OBS, I think. My shirt was brought from Kota Kinabalu during my holiday there. My computer room! Nothing much to say here I guess. Oh. I tidied the room a couple of weeks ago so it doesn't look that bad now. As you can see, my MSN window is on the screen. Guess who I was talking to? I dunno oso lah, forgot liao. XP Another shot of my comp room. The door in the picture leads to the washing machine and rubbish chute. That black thing on my CPU is my thumbdrive. The bottom of the table. Here's where I keep the games. And that's it. I think I'm becoming a Genie fanboy.... I recorded an hour of TV just to edit it to the 3 minutes where she was performing in it. Ok ok no more Blogging for me. I gotta do my hmk. Byes then.

Yeah, so yesterday morning I came home from the sec 1 and sec 2 npcc camp. Frankly, the camp was quite tough because 1: I didn't really train during the hols and 2: It was tough.
Ok. First day. We reported at 7.15 at the Raja block and did the usual pack/unpack your bags in 30 seconds crap. Then we went over to the design centre, where we pitched our tents and played some icebreakers to know the juniors. It was quite screwedup because no one in our group knew how to tie any of the knots. In the end the other groups had to help us. Then we did some PT, basically some pushups onli la. Then the two pairs of groups were given 50$ and told to buy rations for the rest of the camp. That's 4 meals for 13 people which is 52 people. Hmm... so we played around in J8 for a while, and then with bags of noodles and canned food we headed back to RI for lunch. Quite nice la, because I chose the noodles. XD Then after that we had station games. Quite screwed up because we ended up playing handball and soccer for close to 4 hours. I think. After that, we did something (I forgot liao) until 6 or so then we ate dinner and went for some more games. The first day was pretty fun. Oh yeah... then the Sec 3s brought us on a night walk and told us ghost stories. Quite a lot of people were freaked out. I was too, but I forgot all the stories by the next morning.
Aha! Next morning was the more interesting one. I talked cock to Moses and some other guys in the morning, suanned each other and then went back down to the JB to fall in. It was Hiking Time!
The NCOs gave us some bread and jam to eat for breakfast. We spammed it and even brought it along the hike. No one ate it, though. That poor sec 1 had to carry it the whole way. Well at least I and Manfred helped him carry his bottle.
Anyway, the hike started at 7, then we walked until 11, the had lunch, then walked until 2, then took a bus back XD. I guess the Sec 3s that were with us too sian liao. So, we arrived about 2 hours earlier than the other group. If we had walked we would probably arrive an hour earlier of the other group instead. The hike would have been OK if the bloody Sec 1s didn't walk so slowly. It was a frigging stroll. But still I couldn't sprint up any more than two flights of stairs after the hike. So we slacked around and unpitched our tents and stuff until they came back. Hmm. Then it was HELL HOUR!!! BWAHAHAHAHA! All the Sec 1s didn't know what was hell hour. Basically it's hell for an hour. Pump in mud, roll in mud, pump some more in mud, etc. Last year's hell hour was worse though, and involved raw eggs and flour. This year's was quite fun. Everyone was laughing when we were doing drills barefoot in the mud.
"Kekanan pusing!" "Turn-check!" *splat* *giggles*
And the NCOs were kind enough to wash us off with a hose before we went for a bath. It was cold, though.
Then it was the campfire! Quite boring because it was just a bunch of lightsticks in the middle of the Junior Block. I was one of the Cheer squad and my voice was hoarse liao. It still is. I kept on laughing whenever my voice went off. The skits from the other groups were quite screwed up but IMO our skit was quite good. Well, relatively, at least. After that, we went to watch the first hour of The Grudge to freak us out even more for our solo night. A solo night is where we all sleep in different places, hence "solo". For The Grudge, I was quite freaked out at first, but I found out that if you halved the volume by covering your ears it's not scary. I fell asleep half an hour into the show. The only thing I remember is that pervert ghost in that Jap girl's hotel room. =D
Solo night was quite Ok. I slept as much as the first day. What really pissed me off was the fucking (*gasp*) fire drill which had us in pushup position for about half an hour in total (I think), because the seniors took a couple of Sec 1s away and hid them before the drill so that we couldn't find them. And the Sec 1s didn't have the sense to tell any of us before they were whisked away. And now we owe the seniors 200 pushups to be repaid next training, on top of the pushups that we normally do.
Hmm. That's about all for the camp. I decided not to camwhore with the present too.

This is before my few day-long camp. I got the packlist at about 9pm, and I'm done packing. It's 9.40 now. I'mma just gonna dump everything into my school bag... The camp sounds like it'll be pretty slack and stuff so I'm not really bothered. It's just that I'll miss Azumaga Daioh on thursday night. The anime seems pretty funny to me. Anyway, lets take a few minutes to talk about my favourite Christmas Present that isn't chocolates or anything. It's a little silver symbol for a female (I just realised that it's a female symbol, not a male.), with a little glass crystal in the middle, and the words "Forever" etched along a side of it. It's probably quite cheap, but I like it.
Also consider the relationship aspects of it! I can hang it on a chain and give it to a girlfriend and bluff her that I have the male symbol "as long as we wear it we can never be broken up" or something cheesy like that.
I'm going to camwhore with it after the camp. Stay tuned for some pictures.
9:50 PM
Actually, it still can be considered one. It's 1am, and I just started my Chinese book report. And I have no idea why I'm blogging. Oh ya. I went to Evan's house for dinner. Basically we ate some stuff that I've never eaten before. And I thought about a few things on the way home, mainly how I didn't say more than 10 sentences for the whole duration, and the attitude of adults who are supposed to be much more mature than children. The first has to do with the second. I didn't speak a lot because 1: Our parents were talking in a mix of dialect and Chinese, and I can't understand dialect. 2: They were bitching about members and staff of our church. How am I supposed to talk in a topic like this? On a side note, Evan said about a sentence, so at least I tried. =D Ok. Now the second. You know how grown ups are more mature and all? I don't understand why they don't like someone who takes leave for rather valid reasons, when anyway the amount of days of paid leave is granted in the contract anyway.
Take for example one of the things I heard that made me look from my bowl incredulously. They were bitching about one of the staff who was really quite hardworking, but often takes leave (Well not often, but within her allotment of paid leave periods) because she has two children that need taking care of. So my mother was saying in a crude imitation of her "Oh, my son is sick and I have to take him to the doctor so I can't go today." But what she said later (to general agreement) was "It's okay like if you take leave to bring your child to the doctor, especially a young child like one below 10 years old." And the person they were bitching about, both of her children are below 10 years old. So.... I sense a contradiction.
Is this what we get for growing up in such a performance-oriented economy? That we must not claim MC and go to work even if we are sick? That we can't take leave or holidays? That we can't exercise any of the benefits of the job which is probably why we actually applied for it in the first place? That doing so will make us appear lazy, irresponsible and have lousy work ethic?
Maybe I misunderstood the situation due to the confusing mix of languages, maybe there was some things that I missed. Maybe it's ME who's not mature enough. Maybe I'll grow up to understand why this is a workplace faux pas.
Or maybe not.

Yeah, it's Monday morning and I'm posting about Sunday. It was a pretty long day and I was out for almost 12 hours. Out as in Outside, not Out Cold.
So, first we went to church, at around 12-ish. The service ended at 3.45, then there was a 10-minute break before rehearsals for Christmas Day. I was the powerpoint clicky-guy, so I spent a couple of hours freezing with the aircon directly above me. Better wear a jacket on the actual day. My sister and another young kid was playing the violin. It wasn't that good but still it makes a nice violin-iy sound so it's cool when covered by the drums, piano and singing.
Then I called my parents after the rehearsals (At around 6.30 ba) to pick me and my sister up, but instead she went town with Chelsea. (tts how you spell it right?) So anyway, when I called my mum said that we were going to a church friend's house to celebrate Christmas in advance. It's that person that was one of the judges for the Alchemist Essay. So Thank You!
So anyway at their house, they invited other guests too, but I suck at remembering faces so I didn't know most of them (Though I've probably talked to them years ago.) There were 5 teenagers (including me) and I didn't know two of them. There were two kids, and I didn't know both of them. Out of the 12 or so adults, two were my parents, four were from church, one I saw in church before, and a few other faces that seemed kinda familiar. The rest I didn't know.
I resigned myself to another night of staring into the bottom of my plastic cup and giving one-liner remarks to any questions that I'm asked by adults, mainly (So what school are you in?) But it didn't happen! For some reason I had more social power today! Woohoo!
Anyway, out of the two teenagers I didn't know, there was a girl, which I have to admit, was quite chio. Kinda reminded me of Genie Zhuo, for some reason. I think it's just the hair and the dress. The face is a litttleee bit like only. So, my mother was being extra (to the point of funny) and she was trying to intro me to her. I was like LOL. My mother dragged me in front of her (She's called Selina), yeah introduced ourselves (Thank God for no sweaty palms then), and then told her that I was the first prize winner in the Alchemist Essay. Way to go by establishing my nerdiness outright. I fake-laughed very fakely a few times and then went to get a drink.
Then we started talking after the parents went on to talk amongst themselves. She's J1 in ACSI... But according to my mum she was MY age so she must be helluva smart, or my mum was wrong. I didn't ask her age, though. I choose to think that she's 17. Anyway, we started laughing when we realised that we were from rival schools, and then talk some more cock for quite a while, then I went upstairs to watch "Romantic Princess" which Alvin (The son of the owners of the house) had bought. For some reason.
We watched about 1.5 episodes and boy was it draggggyyy. And it seems so Idol Drama-ish, maybe because it is. In fact, the only thing I liked was the opening theme (That strangely was not sung by the main character.) that was sung by S.H.E and Fahrenheit (Who play as rich kids in the show).
Enough with brackets. Anyway, the acting was kinda sub par and exaggerated. Angela (The main character) had too extreme emotions and her eyes were so big it's kinda freaky. Fahrenheit wasn't too good either in terms of acting. I only saw Wu Zun though in the first 1.5 chapters so it's not really a gauge. What surprised me is that Wu Zun is acting exactly how I would have acted. Which is not really good, btw.
So, after that I got bored and went down to see them cut the cake. I ate a slice, and also an Ice Cream. I dont eat either of those normally and I didn't enjoy it. So after that some more talk cock with the second gal that I already know, Yu Xian/Xuan. (How do you spell it anyway?) Then some more mingling with the adults, blah blah blah, made a few jokes that weren't funny but everyone still laughed at anyway, then it was time to go.
In fact, the only guy I didn't talk to was the second teenager that I didn't know. I'm just not used to talking to a guy that looks better than me. XD And then we went home, at around 11.30 or so. I couldn't sleep becoz I washed my hair to get the hairspray out, and that woke me up. So I watched various variety shows until 2.30 or so. Then I went to sleep.

Sunday, December 23, 2007
Yes, today is Sunday morning. And the reason I'm posting this morning is because I forgot to post last night. Actually, I was too bloody tired last night and I fell asleep straight after my show ended at 1am.
So, yesterday, like I said our relatives came over to our house to celebrate Christmas. The tea eggs that my mum cooked were kinda screwed up. Most of them had split open and we ate the worse ones before the guests came. =D Then, I rushed to tidy my room, rushed to tidy my sister's room (She was working at Suntec), rushed to tidy my brother's room (He was working at my father's company) and rushed rush rush rushed. And then my relatives (from my mother's side) came at around 5+. My two aunts brought huge amounts of chicken wings, fish, some other fried stuff, and noodles. My grandmother brought a frigging huge pot of curry and some of that French Loaf thingiy. Ya know, that long stick of bread that goes really well with curry? And I have no idea where the rest of the food came from. Maybe my other aunt or smth.
So,we just went to eat lor. What else?
Hmm. Then after that my aunt brought 881, but no one wanted to watch it. So we watched Elf, which was airing on TV. At first only two cousins and me were watching, but at the end everyone was sitting on the couch and other chairs and stuff watching. Kinda reminded me of when you watch movies in RI. First, only your friend or yourself is watching. At the end, you turn around and see a whole bloody crowd of pple behind you.
Oh, and my 4 cousins kept asking me to solve the Rubik's cube because I brought it out for my younger cousin to play, as I promised the week before. Then my father asked me to do chinups for everyone to see, as well as trying out our rowing machine which we haven't touched in months. I think he was showing off. It worked though.
Then finally, it was time for them to go (At around 10.) and then me and my parents went to clear up the house, and I went to watch TV in the master bed room at 11.30. My parents are lubbing the main TV every night to watch some DVD collection of opera or something.
And that show (that I watched, not the opera) was damn cool!!!! It was the 11.30 to 1am variety show on Chnl U. Normally they just talk about which babe (In categories such as Nurse, Policewomen, Long-legs, devilish figure etc) would win the most votes from hormonally charged men. But this week, there was much more substance! Ok. The first segment was "so real it can't be fake" (translated word for word) where 3 people will come out and talk about their strange jobs or talents. One is bullshitting, and the guests on the show have to guess who or they'll be sprayed with CO2.
So, the first guy (30+ years old, short, kinda fat) claimed to be a ironworks guy who is a DDR breakdance champion and often goes on tours earning up to 6-figure sums at the end of every tour. 1 guest didn't believe him. The second was a ten year old girl who was kinda fat too, but has won the Asian bellydancing competition for the Open category. She won against 23 other groups of adults. 3 guests didn't believe her. The third was a tall professional looking guy who sells houses where gruesome murders and deaths have taken place. One guest didn't believe him on account of his shoes, saying that "No real estate agent wears military boots."
So, in the end the third one was bullshitting, and most of the guests was sprayed with CO2. But the funny thing is, that guy IS a real estate agent but he doesn't sell those type of houses. And he does wear military boots during his work. So, that breakdancing guy was for real! Can't really explain here but he was damn imba, sliding through the dance machine bars, breakdancing all around the dance machine, and still managing to hit the correct sequence with a mix of arms and legs. Then that kid went to bellydance. I was laughing like shit because her stomach kept on shaking. Too much baby fat.
But what really blew me away was the next segment, translated as "looks can be deceiving." Basically they have a bunch of people with unbelievable talents and they put them through a competition to see who's better. Once again, the guests have to guess who. This time though, all of them are real.
So, that episode featured children dancers. I expected something like Mike, but woah. Sorry Mike, but they beat your (and probably everyone in school) socks off.
First was a 9 year old girl who specialised in Girls Hip Hop, but can also do ballet and other dances. She was quite good. Also, she is a dancer in one of Jolin's new MVs.
The second (Now this is cool) was a 11-year old boy who is with Jay Chou's Dance troupe. He is BLOODY GOOD! Hip-hop as well. According to him he has a fanbase in his school and girls stalk him after school just to see him dance. I can see why. He can do robot, locking, some weird shit, Circle/side/straight moonwalk, and stuff.
The third is a gal who is dam pro at Latin dance I think. I prefer hiphop so I didn't really notice this one. She was good though.
The fourth was the second guy's friend, and he is also in Jay Chou's dance troupe. He helped the first guy field calls from girls.... And his dancing style is a bit different, using small but very distinct moves to give a very "robot" feel. He can moonwalk too. A guest asked him and the second guy to hold hands and moonwalk across the stage...quite cool.
The fourth was some gal that I forgot did what. The two guys were cooler. Then I went to sleep.
And that's about it. I'm going to church soon. I hope someone posted that epi on youtube. I'll post it here if I can find it.

I thought about it. Screw the format. It's making my posts uber long. But if I find myself writing in categories I'll separate them into nice different paragraphs.
So, anyway, it's 11 am now, on a Saturday morning. You may wonder, why does someone post in the morning? Is there anything to say at all? Fact is, no. But I'm bored with thinking how to write the bloody Commonwealth Essay.
Anyway, what happened today was that I woke up as usual, at 9. Then my father called to say that some pple were coming to fix the aircon in my brother's room. Now, our family has a type of slacker tradition where we NEVER keep the house neat until we know there are people coming over, upon which we'll rush to tidy up our rooms and such. So, with my brother gone to work and my sister not really bothering, I went to see if my brother's room needed tidying. Of course it did. Clothes everywhere, the shelves below the aircon full of bottles and stuff, a great big pile of cardboard boxes and Styrofoam (left over from his computer) under the aircon, bed untidy, etc. So I rushed to tidy his room and I managed to keep the clothes in the closet, move the boxes to the back of the room (so that it won't get in the way) and moved all the fragile bottles down. Then the aircon crew came and went, and then my mother came home from the market. Where she nagged at me about not being responsible and not tidying my brother's room. She pointed out the cardboard boxes and nagged at me for leaving them at the back of the room. I forgot to make his bed so yeah that was my fault. Then the closet door was also left open and I left all the bottles on the floor in an un-aesthetic formation. So now it's my fault? *rantrantrantrant*
Anyway, in other news my tuition teacher is supposed to be here now. But I guess he forgot. Don't matter though. I need to finish up my hmk anyway. Because my parents are coming into the computer room every half an hour or so to tell me stuff like "Don't look at the computer the whole day", "go and study your Chinese", "Are you doing homework?", "Don't play so much games", "I had a nightmare about your Chinese results last night", etc.
And that's all for now. Oh ya. My relatives are coming over for dinner so that means more tidying up. My mother is cooking tea eggs now. Not that it really concerns you, anyway. Byes. Phew finally a short post.

Well you might not see much difference in this format, but it is a variation. I've arranged the categories from the shortest to the longest, so you can read until the longest part and stop to save time.
Okay, here goes.
LOVE ---- No more liao. crushless. I'll tell you the moment I have a crush. -----
MUSINGS ------- And also, why don't they ever make decent sized dry instant noodles? I mean like... I'm sitting down and wondering if I should eat two or one packets of dry ramen. It's too much at 2 packets but too little at 1. So, I've decided to eat 1 packet. Because there IS only 1 left. Which brings me to my next question: Why the hell do packet noodles come in packs of 5? Why not 6? Why not 4? If you expect us to eat 2 packs a time why not make an even number? So, whoever makes all the instant noodles, please read this. Oh, and I just finished the noodles in the time I took to write the last paragraph. Roughly 4 minutes. And I'm still hungry. -------------
MUSIC -------- Well, today instead of commenting on a single song I've decided to comment on a album, Oxygen of Happiness by Genie Zhuo. Ok. According to my knowledge, the album has ten songs and 4 MVs. I've heard nine of the songs, and watched all four MVs. About the songs, the "main song" which the title of the album is based on, "Oxygen of Happiness" is a cute rock-stlye song with lotsa drums and electric guitars. Plus the lyrics were written by herself! I like the song, but it's a bit weird at parts. Maybe its because the songs came from the net. Also, it's quite remiscent of the first song that got me hooked to her in the first place, "Spice of happiness." She's one happy gal ba...
Second favorite song is "小脾气". I reviewed that the previous time liao so won't say anymore here. Third favorite is "手心" or "Palm." It's an emo song. The rest of the happy songs aren't really super-good lyrics wise, but the simple tunes are stuck in my head, like "疯了疯了". (Crazy crazy)
I can't seem to find the last song online anywhere XD but from the title "The salt said to the pepper" it's happy, which tallies to 5 emo songs and 5 happy songs! Of course, the music quality sucks, so I went to buy the actual album from stores. Well, tried to at least. More on it later.
And I just noticed that most of the teenagers in my church listen to Fahrenheit. Except for me and those that I'm not sure of. ----------------
LIFE ---- Hmm. Gonna be a long post. So, like some people may know, I went to buy the Genie Zhuo album "Oxygen of Happiness" at the stalls at J8. Even though I downloaded the songs off the net already. Ya'know, anti piracy and all that. But I didn't know that my aunt was coming to my house today morning. She arrived at around 9.30 ish. i was planning to bathe at 9.45 and get out of the house at 10, but since she was in the house and my sister was out trying her new skateboard, I obviously couldn't just leave with here sitting there. So, I went to bathe at about 10.30, after she came back and reached J8 at around 11. So instead of heading to the CD shops I decided to just take a walk and look for potential Christmas presents to buy. walk walk walk until about 12, then I went to the two or three shops in J8. Guess what, I asked the salesgirl(s) and she said she didn't have it. Has it even come out yet? Yes, right? So why didn't the shops have it? Haix. Guess I'll have to postpone my Genie high for another day.
Oh, then after that when I was walking around again, I saw Joshua! Suwe, for those who don't know which Joshua. (I know like 4 Joshua's) And he was with a couple of people that I forgot the names of. Sorry...
So basically we talked for the entire time the escalator took to reach the next floor where we went our ways again. At that time, it was about 1, and quite a lot of people were starting to flood J8. So I decided to go to read something at the Bishan Library. Anyway, I went out with the purpose of emptying my second AAA battery which had stayed persistently at "half bar" on my MP3 throughout the holiday. (Because I wanted to have both empty and then charge at the same time. Or else I might get mixed up.)
So I settled down in a chair in a row of about 6 empty chairs, with one of Stephen King's short story collections. The next time I looked up from my book all the seats were filled up with old men who had fallen asleep with newspapers over their faces. Seriously. The books were really quite engrossing. The only thing about Stephen King that I don't like is that he never makes any proper ending in short stories, just some vague trailing off of voices or something. Like in the first story I read, which was the longest one inside the book. It was about how something (hinted to be the fault of a military facility) released *something* which basically wiped out the world except for a bunch of people who barricade themselves in a shopping mall. The *something* is practically a whole new world (not the song) of different types of monsters who are released from another dimension to eat all humans. And also to make it more creepy the whole world seems to be covered in thick mist that clears up just enough to see a giant tentacle/flying bony thing/giant spider/skyscraper like monster/slimy bugs pop out and drag one of your party away. But still there is no explanation and proper ending at the end of the story. Still, it was a good read that exhausted my battery after 3 hours, halfway through the book. Then I went home to rush my theory and piano practice.
I do have more to say but I think you wouldn't want to read any more so yeah. TV time. Byes.

I've looked through my blog and found that it's very chunky and hard to read. Well, sort of. And they are normally just retarded ramblings. So, I've decided to write in a new format and write in categories such as life, music, musings, love, etc. I'll try different variations of this format in the next few posts so stay tuned. ---------------------------
LIFE --- Sigh. Like I said, I went to church today, from 10am to 6pm. I was supposed to be the powerpoint clicker for a Cantonese/Hokkien Christmas special service. So anyway, I arrived in church at 10am. My parents drove me there and dropped me off before going somewhere else to do Christmas Shopping. It was only then that I realised that it was a holiday. Basically, the rehearsals and stuff were from 10 to 1, then 1 to 2 was eating and stuff, then 2 to 3 was spent praying and doing last minute preparations. So much work for me to just tap my finger on the keyboard every few minutes. Luckily though there was lunch AND dinner provided. I seem to vaguely remember that you needed a ticket (even if you're a helper) to go for the service and eat dinner after that. But seeing that I was inside the hall since 10am and the ticketing ushers arrived at 12 or 1... I didn't need any ticket. That cut my lucky draw chances to nil, though.
And then, I called my parents and I went home. They managed to fill up the car boot and half the backseats in eight hours. In short, we did most of the Christmas shopping in one day. I'll still be going out to buy some stuff for my classmates, if possible. -----------
LOVE - Special segment! Well, as most of you probably don't know, I woke up one morning about last week and realised that I didn't have a crush anymore. Funny though, since I've been having the crush on that person for years. Ah well. Anyway, with that fear of rejection gone, I told my crush that I had a crush on her until recently. And guess what? I got rejected. No, not the "Pervert-get-hell-out-of-my-face" type of rejection, just the "sorry-don't-feel-the-same-way" rejection. On hindsight, if I still had a crush on her and gathered my courage to say that, I'll be pretty damn emo now. But I feel happy! No more awkward moments where I don't know whether to comment if someone else is pretty. No more moments where I try to be someone I'm not to make you happy. At least as a friend we don't need that much in common.
Which reminds me of an episode of Hell Girl, where the girl said something like "I love you, but we can only be friends, because love always falls apart while friendships can last forever." Kinda cool if you think about it. And this kinda altered my perception of love and all. I always believed in love at first sight, but now I'm not too sure.
So, if you are my ex-crush and are looking at this now, just leave a tag or something. XD -------------------------
MUSIC ------ Well, in this format I'll comment on a certain album, type of music, or even individual song. Today I'll be commenting on 小脾气 (Genie Zhuo), which directly means "little pissed-off" but actually means... dammit I don't know how to say it in English. Basically, the the emotions of a cute girl pouting. "Cute angry" maybe? So, I listened to it. The lyrics are very nice and especially meaningful to me, the tune is OK la...upbeat and cutesy. The MV, like most other Chinese MVs, don't make any sense, but since it's Genie Zhuo doing the MV I had a cute overload. Which means, Good! Ok. The lyrics are about a girl (Assumed to be very chio) who has a crush on a guy. But the guy is very shy around her, especially because 1: She's chio and 2: Much better guys are after her. So, the song is about her telling him she likes him, and that love is not about looks or outward stuff. Then she pretends to be angry to force his feelings out (that he likes her too.) That's basically the lyrics la. It's quite worth a listen/watch.
This is one of the two songs that I would get high if a girl sang it to me. (provided I like her) The other song is "Lian Ren Wei Man", an old SHE song that says basically the same thing. And also, I just realised that there's another guy version of 小脾气 meaning wise, which is "I am not F4" By Zai Zai. I'll compare some lyrics below. "I am not F4 (a very popular band), I don't care if I'm popular or not. Just want to hold your hand...blah blah blah." "Even though they're guys around me who are handsome and passionate, love isn't about all these." See the similarity? ------------------
MUSINGS ----- Hmm. I'm not too sure what to write here as of yet. A quotable quote? A thoughtful thought? A musing muse? Whatever it is, I'm going to put a few questions I have here. Think about them. Why is sandwich meat round when bread is square? Why is gynecology called that when it's mostly associated with women? If an ant has uncles, does he call them uncles or ants? (Read it aloud)
Anyway, now that I'm on a roll lets hear a joke that I suddenly remember. A woman wakes up in hospital after a ten-day coma. She was pregnant when she fell down the steps ten days ago, but now... "Doctor!" she yells. "What happened to my babies?" "Don't worry" the doctor said. "We delivered the baby twins, a boy and a girl. Your brother even named them already!" "What? My brother's an idiot! What did he call them?" "He called the girl Denise." "That's not so bad... What about the boy?" "Denephew."
Soo, yeah. I'll try another format for the next post.

Haix. Yesterday I went for the crampcraft competition training. I was supposed to replace Kelvin, who quit. And I say "crampcraft" because everyone seemed to think that the PT segment was hard. Apparently quite a lot of pple got blisters everywhere and cramps as well. Maybe the Monday training was really some hell ba. But I didn't go for the Monday one so yeah, Tuesday wasn't that hard for me. Like, all the pegging was really easy and I ended up with my index finger a bit sore, but it stopped about an hour later.
Anyway, while me, suf, and cheng wei were talking cock and slacking at the start of the training, Fuggle came and said that he was there to move the den. His hair was some bomb long.
And after that we tried to make some type of shelter. It wasn't that easy because the only knot I remembered was a thumbknot. But after everything was done I think I did a pretty good job la *ego* and probably would have some chance next year for the campcraft competition.
(The following paragraph may make me seem ego, which I am.)
And then it was the PT segment which everyone dreaded for some reason. First we did about 20+15 pushups. Easy. Then we went over to the chin-up bars and of course I owned la. I mean, who did the required 5, then went back up and did 7? I admit I strained myself a bit though, because I died for the inclined pull-ups after that. Then was some weird ab excersice that didn't really seem to work. Maybe I did it wrongly.
Anyway, tomorrow is a new day! Where I'll spend at church clicking powerpoint for hokkien worship songs! Damn. It'll be more fun then staying at home, though. I'll bring some stuff to do there during the rehearsals, like brainstorming for RCEC (royal commonwealth essay compeition) or reading my chinese books. Yes, I've gone into homework mood. I don't plan on screwing up Sec 3 like I did with 1 and 2.

Yeps, with not much time left till the end of the hols, plus my resolution to go out everyday and piano and tuition, I thought that maybe I should start on my homework. So here I am with the Chinese book on my lap, my CommonWealth Essay in brainstorming stages on the computer, and Jigoku Shoujou Futakomori playing. Which is seriously distracting me.
Anyway, thanks to Sufyan throughout the year I've become pretty damn addicted to anime. First Hell Girl, then Cowboy Bebop, then DGM. And it doesn't help that I'm starting to like the ending songs too. Sometimes I loop the DGM ending song on youtube while I surf the net. And.. Fuggle Jiayou for uploading all the pics!
So... its dinner now and I thought I'll take some time to make a short blog post.
And I have an amazing idea for the essay.
"Blue." ---- The spotlight speared down in a glaring ray. The man, in a white cap pulled backwards, in a grey T-Shirt that screamed the letters "65" and tattered jeans gave a nod to his right. The crowd quietened down as the introductory notes began to play on the electric guitar. A nod to the left, and a drum started. "One! Two! Three! Four!" The crowd screamed as the man held out his mike to the sea of lightsticks. "Yo listen up. Here's a story about a little guy who lives in a blue world..." ------------ Damn that kinda sucked. Was trying to make a sort of twist, but nevermind. We HAVE to do the commonwealth essay, right?
Someone please tell me if we don't have to.

First, Today. I went to buy my uniform for next year. At Bibi And Baba (That's a retarded name btw) there was some mother that was damn farni. Her kid was in Sec 1 RI and so she was showing off. "Hey, where do you buy RI shirts? See, my son is in RI next year..." Quite funny. The mother was emphasising every "RI". Anyway, after that I went to MPH to finally spend my book vouchers for winning the Alchemist Essay Competition and beating some Sec 4 mugger! I spent about 84.75 dollars in total, and paid the 4.75 in cash because I didn't want to waste my $5 voucher. "Can I use these vouchers?" I said, taking out a whole wad of 'em. The cashier probably thought it was fake, seeing that I had so many vouchers. She stared at them for about a minute, checking the signature and serial number and stuff. Then I bought my books. Actually, I didn't buy quite a lot of the books I wanted because 1: They're heavy and 2: I'm not sure if I should buy them. I'm buying two of the 3 books I bought as Christmas presents, and I'm planning to buy maybe two or three more for other people when I can decide what book. There is a beautiful picture showcase of cute dogs that I plan on buying for someone. It costs close to 40 bucks, though. Bleagh. Anyway, now Pictures of my recent holiday! In chronological order, no less.
From Left: My Mum, my Sis, Me. The market is behind us. Those stuff hanging down are salted fish.
Some cool picture my sister took. It looks fake. Me playing around with the camera effects. It turned out well. Another picture that I took. Ditto. Ditto. This time using the "Sports" effect. Ditto. This one looks fake. My sister took this, with me posing emo. At the zoo. A "grass sculpture" of a proboscis monkey. Us watching the animal training show. It was pretty cool. Don't say anything.
A Proboscis Monkey. See the nose... A cow. I think. After the visit to the zoo. This was just at the entrance gate. It was raining on the way back from the zoo. This was taken from inside the cab. Before the meal. Being extra.
After the meal. Good looks run in the family, huh? One of those stuff to "kiap" the crabs. Dunno what they're called. Second day, breakfast in the hotel. At the little village on the way to Mt. Kinabalu. She didn't know what was coming. It was about 15 degrees at that time. The world's smallest orchid. The "Mickey Mouse" flower. Outside the park. Now you see that its cold.
In the coach, on the way to the restrauant.
The view from the restrauant balcony. It was around 13 degrees.
Camwhoring while waiting for the bus.
Again. My sister's a pro at jumpshots.
And she's pro to take pictures when she shouldn't. I was yawning while trying to tell her NOT to take a picture.
 First canopy walk!
View from the canopy walk. Pretty scary, considering that they just repaired the bridge the week before because a tree fell all the way thru it. Camwhoring again. I'm holding the camera so i tend to take a lot of self-pics. I had to crouch on the canopy walk for this picture. It was shaky and freaky. I love this pic. Notice how the background is blur but the characters arent really blur. After the walk. Again. After the spring water bath. Notice I didn't put any pics of me bathing because I was topless most of the time. And it's not pretty. Chicken Rice! Next morning: Bleary-eyed. Near the rafting area. Nice rite? Wearing my helmet. I didn't get whacked on my head too much, though. During the rafting. This was one of the high-quality pics that we bought from them. Again Again And...Again. The pics are seriously high-quality. After the rafting. Wet hair. Again. Sunset from our hotel. We used a timer!
Breakfast, last day. FINALLY presentable clothes! Was checking out. I blinked. Drinking our drinks. AND FINALLY IT'S OVER!!!!
Edited everything and put in the rest of the pictures. Have fun. Byes for now. Hope someone appreciates this.
