Argh. Is it so hard to say one bloody "Thank You"? I say it every damn day! Help me pick up something, I say thanks. Give me a smile, I say thanks. Even if you don't do or say anything, I still say: Thanks, for your company.
So, WHY don't I ever get one back in return?
I mean, I cooked for you, helped you run back and forth for water and stuff, then cleared your plates and washed em. Then? You nag about my Chinese, you nag about how I spend my whole day at home doing nothing, you nag further about my Chinese, and you start comparing me to other kids from your dreamland where all kids are supermuggers, have 18 arms, and have the filial piety of Yue Fei.

Maybe it's just me, maybe it's because mums are made to nag. Or maybe I was too distracted by other things to notice that you thanked me.
Or maybe it's because I'm normally the more responsible child, the RI boy as everyone calls me. So is it expected if I do all of these? Is it all taken for granted?
Or is it me, taking things for granted? I mean, shouldn't every child take care of their parents? Shouldn't they do housework while the parents are out working? So, shouldn't I feel obligated to do all these without expecting anything in return?
Questions, questions.
In short, I just feel that I should be able to know that I'm appreciated, that I have indeed helped in some way.
-------------------------------

Sorry, that came across as a little harsh. I really feel thankful that my parents care so much actually, by asking me about course options and being worried about the safety of my chin-up bar. The above was all just ranting, don't take it to heart. I was bored xP
-------------------------------

Speaking of which, I still don't have a chin up bar. x(
Ted, I guess I'll try your door-stopper idea. =D
And, today is my brother's birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KOR KOR!!!

bye.
