Hi guys... here I am on my last day of the long weekend. And I forgot to cut my hair again. I hope I won't get screwed too much on Wednesday. Any way, my post is mostly about the soccer carnival today. For starters, last year we were totally trashed, not winning or even scoring a single goal throughout. This year, we thought we might have stood a chance of getting into the quarterfinals, but what happened? We blew it. The first match was okay. We didn't win but we scored a goal which was infinitely better than last year's score already. However after the first match (Which ended at around 9.30 or so) we went to the field to train for the next match. We were told that our next match was surprisingly at 1.30pm. So... we said okay, and since we had about 3 hours worth of time by then, most of the class decided to go to LAN and come back in time for the match. Me, Kirk, Jonathan and Chia went to my house to drink (root) beer and play computer games. So, we had some fun playing Need For Speed Carbon and they each ended up bringing a game home to install. We went back to school and surprise surprise no one from our class was there. "Didn't you know? You walkover already!" "What?" Dammit! Somehow the soccer match was pushed forward 3 hours, just after the guys were halfway to the LAN centre. Shek got a call saying that our game was on NOW and so they decided to forfeit. Sigh. Not that I'm blaming those LAN people but the worst thing is that our form teacher (Who is quite strict) came down to support us, WHEN WE WERE NOT THERE. So it's like standing a woman up on the first date... screwed. However it was still fun as it kinda lifted my boredom for a while. I guess its back to Battlefield then, now that I'm home.
